Incredible Woman #16 - Laura Jarman. Thursday's questions

KARA: "What kinds of things inspire you?"

LAURA: "I have always loved vintage embroidered linens, particularly all white. One of my favorite treasures is a workbook that my danish grandmother gave me of her handi-work from when she was a young girl and went to an all girls school. The details are amazing! The pages show hand-drawn designs that were then sampled onto actual linens and woven fabrics. It is also extra sweet that we have the same monogram - L - it is my private connection to my mother and grandmother (Louise and Liz) that reminds me of my loving heritage of incredible women!"

KARA: "What is a typical day like for you and your family?"

LAURA: "Busy! This is the first year we have all had the early school schedule. It took some time, but I am learning to love getting up that extra hour early to start the day! While the kids are at school, Darryl and I are attending to the business. After school, it is a mad scramble to the finish with activities, lessons and homework!"

Tomorrow is our last day with Laura. I've really enjoyed getting to know her - I'm lucky that her store is 1 mile from my house!!! Come back tomorrow for the last day of our interview. Don't forget to comment today or tomorrow to be entered in the give-away from Laura's store.
