Well, we are at the end of another week of Incredible Women! I want to thank Kim for allowing me to feature her this week. It's been a great week for the blog. We went from 28 followers to 72! And when the week started out, our counter was at 794. It's now at 1293! WOW!! Plus, we had 100 comments. :-) I know most of you who have visited the blog this week are followers of Kim's blog, and I want to thank you as well. I'm so glad to have each one of you as followers. Please help me spread the word about Incredible Women.
So, this is the time where I tell you what I've learned from Kim this week. There were so many things, but here are just a few: Faith is important to Kim, both growing up and now. Becoming a parent at nearly 40 was a life-changing experience, with many blessings. Kim is diligent in getting mammograms (YES!! Keep it up - it IS so important). To quilt, I just need a desire and then stick with it. It's hard to be creative with food menus after 26 years (don't I know it!). Keep your husband happy by paying attention to him and taking care of his needs. Exercise, eat right, and get enough sleep. About blogging, I learned to leave comments, and keep things interesting and fresh. And finally, I just want to say that I loved Kim's short and long-term goals!
One last thing. Someone whose opinion I really trust, told me that maybe I should tweak this blog a little. So,I'm thinking that this blog probably needs a little work. It's a tad too busy, perhaps. So, I'm wondering what parts are most important to you besides the interview? Do you like the slideshows, the music players, the favorites, the advice? What could you live without, and what is helpful? I'd like to trim the blog a little, but want to leave those things that are most helpful. If you could please leave a comment and let me know what's important to you, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
Tomorrow the blog will be under construction, but we will be announcing the winner of Kim's give-away, and the name of the next Incredible Woman - so don't forget to peek at the blog!
Take Care.

Yes, I agree, Kim's interview was wonderful. I also learned a lot from her as well. I enjoy following her on her blog as well as your new blog. I hope you make some wonderful new changes. Looking forward to seeing them.
I enjoy reading your blog. I found you through Kim's blog - I look at hers quietly, but will start leaving comments.
I usually read the posts through my google reader, so I don't see the rest of your blog site. I checked it out today - the stuff on the side doesn't bother me, but I don't pay much attention to it. Other people might like it. It sure seems like a lot of work for you to change all that stuff every week. It might be easy to get bogged down with the whole process, and feel overwhelmed. I'd rather you keep the incredible women going, and not worry about the other stuff.
Since you are asking, I will be totally honest. I usually keep the sound turned off on my computer.....I'm just not into listening to music on all the blogs and sites I visit. Also, I like to see some still pictures posted here and there, but I rarely take the time to look at a slideshow as I never know how long it will take (and sometimes I just have a few minutes here and there to look at a blog or two). These things (music and slideshows) may be important to others, but on me, they are wasted. So...that's just one opinion of what is important. OH...yes....I don't often look at sidebars, either.....with the time factor being the reason.
I'd love to win your giveaway, and I would love to meet you both. I feel like you are sisters.

I agree with the person who posted about the music. Some people have slower computers and it takes so much time to load all the extra stuff. I do like seeing the slide show however. Thanks for the great interview with KIm. Looks like you're off to a great start with your blog.
Kara,
I have been following your blog since the first day. I learned about your blog from Kim who I follow and she has become one of my Blogger friends.
As far as your blog, I always turn music off if someone has it on. So please don't add it. Slideshows are OK, but I don't watch them all because of time and I don't really know what is going on unless they are labeled.
The sidebar info seems to be changing, so where would I find what each person favorite books, vacation spots or advise on being a women after there week is over, maybe compile that info into a closing post, just a thought.
I enjoy your blog, and everyone has their own style, it would be boring if we all did it the same way.
